Mr. Hamilton’s Bike Ride

Hello everyone,

My name is David Hamilton.  For those of you that do not know me, I am a third grade teacher at Rensselaer Park Elementary.  I am taking on another cycling challenge for a cause deeply close to our hearts, The Mary Fund.  After successfully biking along the Empire State Trail from Albany to Buffalo last summer, I am ready for my next journey. From August 26th to August 30th, I will be riding my bicycle all the way from Albany to the Canadian border along the historic Champlain Trail, and then looping back down to finish up in Burlington, Vermont—a journey of 240 total miles.

This 5 day trek is dedicated to honoring Mary. Over the years, The Mary Fund has graciously supported teachers, schools, educators, and the community in so many incredible ways, pouring love and resources into our schools and educators. Now, it is our turn to show that same gratitude. What a great time for us to give back and donate for a truly great cause!
